Caring Foundation of Texas

The Foundation's network of partnerships is working together to remove barriers such as costs, time and limited access to nearby health care providers.
Uninsured and underserved families need flexible health care options in the communities where they live, work, and play. The Caring Foundation of Texas has two free and versatile programs to remove these barriers: the Care Van® program and CareVan@SchoolSM.
The Care Van program started almost three decades ago and features 11 mobile units with 12 partners across the state. Based on the needs of the community, services may include immunizations, preventive screenings, dental care and education. Since 1997, the Care Van program has given more than 1.4 million immunizations to Texas children, a significant achievement in preventive health
