What Is PHI?

  • When waiting in line at your provider's office or a pharmacy, be aware if someone is standing too close to you. They may be eavesdropping to learn your personal medical information.
  • Never loan your member ID card to anyone. Always keep it close to you.
  • Don’t discuss sensitive medical information on your phone in public places.
